3kW Solar Install Feature
What Power Crisis customers Bill & Jill recently got a 3kw solar system installed at their Pukekohe home.
Bill's motivation for purchasing solar was to cut power costs and save money.
To give them an idea of how much money they could save, What Power Crisis prepared a preliminary pathfinder report using a copy of Bill's roof plan, showing him what to expect in performance from a 3kw solar system.
The final install:
- 12 x Enphase M215W Micro-inverters
- 12 x Renesola 260W PV Modules
- Envoy monitoring unit
- Flush mount on to a metal roof using standard GSIK05 brackets, and Neuton Power rail system. Installed in 2 arrays to make efficient use of the roof space, and avoid shading.
