YHI attends Totara Park RDA open morning

In November last year, Tamara Potts of YHI’s in-house marketing team had the pleasure of attending an open morning at Totara Park Riding for the Disabled as an insight on what the charity does for the community.

Riding for the Disabled (NZRDA) is a charitable organisation responsible for 55 RDA groups around the country that provide interaction with horses to develop increased ability, independence and self worth for children and adults with physical, intellectual, emotional and social challenges.

Totara Park RDA is run by some very committed volunteers along with therapists, instructors and a horse manager. In recognition of the valuable work RDA does for the community, YHI is proud to support them and sponsors the care of Hershey - a horse that participates in the program.
